came home from a night out the other day to find that The Moose had managed to knock the barrier that keeps him from the main room down, and then proceeded what looks like a very thorough blitzkrieg of my book collection. he obviously doesn't rate truman capote, so much so that he completely destroyed and then pissed on both in cold blood and breakfast at tiffany's. he seems to feel the same way about hemingway - the old man and the sea got a savaging and a drenching too. in fact most of my american lit got battered.

(then again, as he devoured most of capote and hemingway, maybe he does like them?)

graham greene got off lightly, just a nibbling. and he didn't even touch my japanese grammar books, the fucker. i reckon there should be a new category in the world of publishing - 'dog lit'.
